Since 1932, the Knell Mortuary is located on the corner of Garrison Avenue and Chestnut Street in the heart of historic downtown Carthage, Missouri. The funeral home is spacious and beautifully remodeled. Interior surroundings create an environment that helps make a difficult time easier.
Our chapel and visiting rooms are warmly furnished and designed to meet any family's needs, whether for a small, intimate service, or a large public gathering. The newly redecorated chapel provides comfortable seating for 120 guests and creates a peaceful environment for services of all kind. We provide two separate and spacious visitations rooms to offer privacy and convenience.
To best care for the families we serve, displays of caskets, urns, vaults, and special memorials are located on site. The recent addition of the York Merchandising System provides convenience during any planning process. Please refer to our Services section for more information.
